Council on Aging Director Hampton County Government Hampton, SC Under little direct supervision, supervises administrative, clerical and social worker employees and volunteers; plans and directs the activities of the Council on Aging in order to ensure the proper provision of services for elderly Hampton County citizens. Directs the planning and implementation of agency programs and events; researches and secures sources of funding for the agency. Prepares and monitors an annual operating budget; ensures effective, efficient agency operations. Reviews work of subordinates for completeness and accuracy. Reports to the County Administrator. Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s degree in social work or human services; five years of high level experience in human services (preferably involving work with senior citizens), two of which will have been in a supervisory capacity; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
