Responsibilities:
Contact customers regarding past-due accounts via phone, email, and other communication channels. Negotiate payment arrangements and follow up on commitments to ensure payments are made. Document all collection activities and customer interactions in the system accurately. Research and resolve disputes or discrepancies related to outstanding balances. Collaborate with internal departments, including customer service and accounting, to resolve billing issues. Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism and empathy. Monitor accounts to identify trends and recommend improvements in the collections process.
Requirements:
Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken). Previous experience in collections, accounts receivable, or customer service preferred. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism and tact. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with collection software or CRM systems. High level of attention to detail and ability to multitask. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
