Responsibilities Manage and maintain accounts receivable by contacting clients regarding outstanding debts. Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers to facilitate debt recovery. Utilize accounting software to track payments, account status, and reconcile accounts. Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records. Handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and effective phone etiquette. Provide exceptional customer service while addressing client inquiries and concerns related to their accounts. Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions related to collections. Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for improving collection rates. Qualifications Proficiency in accounting software and basic math skills for accurate calculations related to debits and credits. Experience in accounts receivable or telemarketing is preferred but not required. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to persuade clients while maintaining positive relationships. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written. A background in customer service is highly desirable, showcasing the ability to handle difficult conversations effectively. Familiarity with coding is a plus but not mandatory.
