Billing/Accounting Coordinator Global Sports Institute 201 Triple Diamond Boulevard, Nokomis, FL 34275

Position Summary:

Global Sports Institute is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing & Accounting Coordinator to manage the day-to-day billing and payment processes. This position plays a key role in ensuring that internal billing procedures run smoothly. While our accountant handles bookkeeping and financial reporting through QuickBooks, this role supports the financial workflow by managing billing documents, and coordinating payment activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, review, and organize incoming vendor invoices and bills. Verify invoice accuracy, match to purchase orders or contracts, and prepare payment requests. Track outgoing payments and maintain organized payment records. Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies. Maintain digital and/or physical filing systems for billing and payment documentation. Communicate regularly with the company’s accountant to provide necessary documentation and updates. Support other administrative accounting tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or some college coursework in accounting or finance preferred. 1-3 years of experience in billing, accounts payable/receivable, or related administrative roles. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Comfortable working with spreadsheets and accounting documentation (QuickBooks access is not required). Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word); experience with billing systems a plus.
