Duluth, GA Job Purpose:
The Billing Administrator will provide high-level administrative support to the Billing Team to ensure the efficient operation of the Billing department. This role involves preparing documents, organizing sensitive information, and assisting with successful completion of billing-related processes.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no direct reports.
Essential Functions:
Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, memos, and presentations related to billing operations. Assist in tracking billing projects, deadlines, and associated compliance documents. Maintain and organize digital and physical filing systems for billing documents. Assist in data entry, invoice tracking, and preliminary account reviews when needed. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and personnel information. Communicate to the Billing Director and Billing Supervisors regarding the status and completion of all assigned tasks
Competencies:
Knowledge of reporting formats and data entry/tracking systems. Skill in being timely and dependable. Skill in completing or organizing documentation. Skill in data entry with attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively on the telephone. Ability to listen and communicate verbally and in writing. Ability to work in a high pace environment with a high energy level. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Ability to demonstrate emotional control in stressful situations.
Work Environment:
Generally, works in an office environment.
Travel Requirements:
None Required education and experience: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a corporate office environment (legal or financial services related) Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Preferred education and experience:
Familiarity with billing software or financial management systems. Experience with data reporting or tracking tools. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
