What You’ll Do:
Functions as the primary auditor of the Surgical Services revenue cycle and serves as a liaison between clinical users of the perioperative documentation system and corporate operations. Manages complex daily reporting requests and corrects coding discrepancies, performs in-services to clinical and non-clinical staff, and compiles and reports monthly statistical data. Reports on all aspects of information systems lifecycle (info planning, business requirements, implementations & production support. Manages complex daily reporting requests and corrects coding discrepancies. Ensures ail users requests are received, promptly evaluated, and responded to in a timely manner. Conducts meetings with clinical staff to assist in establishing report priorities. Develops and redefines business processes to fit available information for the creation of reports. Processes system reports (recurring and one-time requests) and verifies accuracy of data. Communicates with end-users regarding report scope & maintenance. Performs simple maintenance on hardware; engaging IS when appropriate. Performs in-services with clinical and non-clinical staff; regarding departmental policies as related to system enhancements, education, and operation of modules.
What You’ll Need:
