Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Billing and AR Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of customer invoices and credits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process daily billing for shipped orders and distribute invoices to customers
• Manage credits for shortages and damages (with credit manager approval)
• Resolve billing discrepancies and issues
• Bill customers for additional freight charges (e.g., liftgate, redelivery)
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate billing records
• Communicate with customers to resolve billing questions or concerns
• Assist in audits by providing relevant documentation
• Reconcile and communicate freight quotes with carriers
• Send monthly customer statements

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Quick to learn new software systems
• 3-5 years of experience in billing and accounts receivable
