Medical Billing Specialist Vocational & Psychological Services Butler, PA 16001 Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing billing processes, ensuring accurate coding, and facilitating timely payments.

Duties include:

 Posting and electronic filing of outbound claims  Working, appealing, and reviewing denied claims  Contacting insurance companies and VPS offices  Posting payments  Auditing  Monitoring and maintaining electronic records  Insurance credentialing and recredentialing Skills  A team player  Detail oriented  A fast learner  Able to work independently  Able to work well with others  Willing to help others, as needed Previous medical billing experience required. Previous experience with CareLogic is a plus.
