Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Billing & Collection Manager to oversee our billing and collections department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of technical terminology, financial software, and accounting practices. This role is crucial in ensuring timely collections and maintaining positive relationships with clients while managing the collection process efficiently. Duties Manage the daily operations of the collections department, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. Oversee the billing process and follow-up on outstanding accounts. Utilize financial and accounting software to track payments, manage accounts receivable, and generate reports. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries professionally and effectively. Train and mentor collection staff on best practices in timely customer service and phone etiquette. Analyze collection trends and develop strategies to improve overall collection rates. Maintain accurate records of all communications with clients regarding their accounts. Requirements Proven experience in billing or collections. Proficiency in financial software and accounting systems (ConnectWise & ECI E-automate); experience with accounts payable is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on effective communication and phone etiquette. Strong mathematical skills to analyze financial data accurately. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
