Barbato Excavation offers services for residential and commercial customers, building roads, driveways, tennis courts, basketball courts, foundations, demolition, clean outs, septic systems, backhoe and bulldozing services, and other services involving the earth. We also provide stone, gravel, clean fill, topsoil, compost, bark mulch, wood chips and blacktop product. Barbato Disposal offers weekly residential, commercial and industrial trash & recycling pick-up. Our available sizes are as follows: Roll offs (10-30 yard) and dumpsters (1.5-8 yd) for both commercial and residential jobs or cleanouts. Residential tote sizes of 65 and 95-gallon. We pick up both trash and recycling on the same day, making your life easier. We also offer residential household garbage drop off from furniture to trash bags. Barbato Disposal also offers a Transfer Station on site that is open to the public. We accept construction debris, demolition, large items, household cleanups, and residential trash in bulk over a certified scale, offering you the most inexpensive way to get rid of your unwanted items. We are environmentally responsible. We not only conduct business locally, we live here. Which is why we’ve built our own recycling and recovery facility to help the cause of saving our land, rather than filling landfills. We started recycling even before it was a law, because it means that much to us. We service Columbia, Berkshire, and Greene Counties, with some work in Litchfield and Rensselaer Counties. Located on State Route 23, just 2 miles from the MA/NY border, 15 miles from CT border, in Hillsdale, NY, ¼ mile east of the Hillsdale traffic light.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated individual who thrives on being a self-starter and is passionate about contributing towards building a local business. Someone who embraces challenge and will speak up and ask for more opportunities to learn, lead and contribute. Specifically, he/she will work in the Accounting department performing various tasks maintaining records and assisting with office tasks that keep the office running during business hours. Duties will include, but are not limited to: Answer phones/assist customers with needs Maintain, publish and extradite reports Run and manage credit card machine reports Assist with instilling and maintaining office process and procedures Basic office tasks including mailings, copying, faxing, filing, etc. Input customer financial transactions in TerraTrash and on customer cards Run Transfer Station scale, performing data entry and customer transactions Maintain truck and equipment records both manually and on computer Work with auditors as needed Enter applicable tax forms for NYS/MA taxes online Misc. duties as needed

Compensation:
Based on experience.
Attendance Requirements:
This position is a full time job, and as such, the employee is expected to be at the office Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm
