Executive Protection Assistant

Tampa, FL • Hybrid work We are seeking a highly capable, discreet, and mission-driven Executive Protection Assistant to support a senior executive operating in diverse global environments. This hybrid role merges high-level administrative support with protective presence and operational readiness, ideal for a former military or security professional who can anticipate needs, travel frequently, and safeguard both time and well-being. The Executive Protection Assistant will accompany the executive on daily travel, manage logistics, act as a liaison with stakeholders, and assist with both professional and select personal duties. The ideal candidate is dependable, observant, well-organized, and able to function independently in high-tempo environments. Key Responsibilities Serve as the executive’s day-to-day assistant across multiple time zones and locations. Coordinate travel logistics, lodging, ground transportation, and itinerary planning with precision. Accompany the executive on daily trips (Domestic & International) and provide a discreet layer of protection and situational oversight. Liaise with corporate teams, government officials, vendors, and third-party service providers. Anticipate operational needs and proactively resolve issues before they escalate. Maintain strict confidentiality around executive movements, discussions, and documentation.
Provide general administrative support:
calendar management, meeting coordination, communications handling. Remain alert and responsive to the security posture of each operational setting, coordinating with local teams as necessary. Candidate Requirements Military, Special Forces, or Executive Protection background required. Proven experience supporting senior leaders, high-net-worth individuals, or operational teams in dynamic environments. Strong administrative, logistics, and organizational skills. High degree of emotional intelligence, discretion, and professionalism. Fluent in English; additional language skills a plus. Physically fit, polished, and adaptable to different cultural and environmental contexts. Valid passport and able to travel internationally without restriction. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in private security, government contracting, or high-stakes business environments. Familiarity with international travel protocols, diplomatic settings, or remote/hostile area travel. Experience with travel management platforms, secure communications, and confidentiality practices.
