Medical Records File Clerk 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 406 Lippincott Drive, Marlton, NJ 08053 We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Specialist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining patient medical records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Medical Records Specialist Key Responsibilities:
Organize and maintain patient medical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of medical records by reviewing and verifying information. Process requests for medical records from patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies. Implement and maintain electronic health record (EHR) systems. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper documentation and coding of medical information. Conduct regular audits of medical records to ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Provide training and support to staff on medical records management procedures.
Medical Records Specialist Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in health information management is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
