Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Diagnostic Imaging Scheduling Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible to perform a wide variety of duties to include kindly greeting patients and perform minimal scheduling for walk in patients while ensuring an environment which promotes a positive patient experience. Must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task and work effectively as a team member within the organization and with customers.
Job Responsibilities:
Provides office support to meet the unit needs. Function as a point person, interacting in a courteous manner with patients, patient families, providers, nurses, administrative staff internal and external to HHC in the coordination of patient care, such as but not limited to, answering question, triaging calls, obtaining patient transport, required equipment and supplies, patient referrals, and resolving registration issues. Demonstrates commitment to service excellence in daily contact with patients, physicians, co-workers and visitors. Demonstrates competencies, including knowledge and behaviors, to meet age-specific patient needs (e.g. Pediatrics, Adolescents, and Geriatrics.) Qualifications High School graduate required. Additional education preferred. Basic keyboard skills with proficiency in use of personal computer. Good interpersonal and written communications skills Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred. Ability to multitask in a fast pace environment. Must be able to work various hours based on business needs. EPIC experience preferred. We take great care of careers.
