Job Description

Part-time Office Assistant (Direct Mail Specialist) Tea Leaf Realty 1001 Farmington Avenue, West Hartford, CT 06107 We are seeking a Part-Time Office Assistant and Direct Mailing Specialist. Our ideal candidate is very organized with strong attention to detail to guarantee that our direct mailing is efficient and effective. You will be responsible for compiling direct mailing lists and ensuring every piece of correspondence is printed, assembled, and mailed on time and to exacting standards. Your day-to-day will be varied—you’ll run the printer, manage mail runs, update databases, and keep our office supplies stocked and organized. Schedule & Commitment

  • Flexible schedule, 20-30 hours per week
  • Contract role: 6 months, with potential to extend based on business needs Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, print, fold, label, stuff, and seal direct-mail pieces
  • Operate and maintain office printers, copiers, and postage meters
  • Manage mailing lists: update addresses, run address-verification checks, coordinate with CRM data
  • Coordinate with local post office and courier services for bulk mail drop-off
  • Maintain an inventory of paper, envelopes, toner, postage, and other mailing supplies
  • Perform general office duties as needed (data entry, filing, light receptionist tasks)
  • Track mailing schedules, deadlines, and budget usage Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Hands-on familiarity with office printers/copiers and postage-meter equipment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and ability to work independently
  • Clear communication skills and a customer-service mindset
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site in our West Hartford Office Preferred Skills
  • Prior experience in direct-mail fulfillment or print shop environment
  • Basic knowledge of mail-preparation regulations (e.g., USPS standards)
  • Comfortable lifting mail trays/packages (up to 25 lbs)
