About The Position We are seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to assist with handling daily administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, scheduling pickups and drop-offs, and more. You will also help with more general office support and offer advice to other office personnel and our manufacturing staff. We are looking for a friendly individual who can greet visitors to our factory, including both new and existing customers. This role could develop into a full-time position depending on performance and the growing needs of EDCO Industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle scheduling requests.
- Maintain and organize files, records, and documents in digital and physical formats for easy access and retrieval.
- Contact vendors and clients, provide excellent customer service, maintain professional communication, and support business operations.
- Order office supplies and manage inventory levels.
- Provide advice to other office personnel and manufacturing staff.
- Greet new and existing customers, as well as other visitors.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Commitment to punctuality and reliability.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Nice to Have (But Not Required):
- Experience with QuickBooks for small businesses.
- Previous experience in office administration or a similar role.
Required Educational Background:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
