Office Assistant 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 1776 East Tremont Avenue, Bronx, NY 10460 Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to support our daily office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, excellent phone etiquette, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. This role requires effective time management and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy. Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies. Assist in managing office schedules and appointments, ensuring efficient time management. Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution. Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors, addressing inquiries promptly. Support the office management team in various administrative tasks as needed. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to company policies. Management of technician supplies. I.E. stamping inspection tags, keeping counts of inventory and ensuring accurate supplies are kept. Experience Previous experience as a receptionist is preferred but not required. Strong clerical skills with proficiency in office software applications. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette. A background in customer service or office management is advantageous.
