Administrative Assistant (Construction Industry) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive support in a dynamic office environment. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks, including document preparation and office management, to ensure smooth operation within the organization. Responsibilities Conduct higher-level administrative and office work. Utilize bookkeeping experience to enhance office operations. Research and approve construction permitting. Perform documentation research for construction projects. Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing, and copying. Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems. Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements. Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and emails. Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports. Order office supplies and maintain inventory. Handle requests for information and data. Resolve administrative problems and inquiries. Support other departments as needed. Essential Skills Administrative support Data entry Customer service Calendar management Permitting Proposals Bookkeeping Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
