Warranty Clerk Position Available In Chester, Pennsylvania

Warranty Clerk 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars 1225 East Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335 Jeff D’Ambrosio Auto Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warranty Clerk to join our team Monday through Friday 9am-5pm. The workplace is easy going with great pay, and no stress! This role requires strong administrative skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service, as well as a positive attitude. Experience as a warranty administrator is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and submit warranty claims to the manufacturer or warranty provider in a timely manner. Verify and ensure the accuracy of warranty information, including labor, parts, and repair orders. Track and follow up on claim approvals, denials, and adjustments. Communicate with service technicians, service advisors, and management to clarify warranty coverage and resolve discrepancies. Maintain organized records of all warranty claims and supporting documentation. Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and dealership policies. Monitor and report on warranty claim statuses and reimbursements. Assist in maintaining warranty manuals, bulletins, and updates from the manufacturer. Provide administrative support to the Service Department as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in automotive administration is a plus. Previous experience as a Warranty Clerk or in a similar administrative role within the automotive industry preferred. Strong understanding of warranty processes, manufacturer policies, and repair order documentation. Proficient in using dealership management software (DMS) and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members. Familiarity with Volkswagen warranty policies is a plus but not required.
