General Administrator 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars 4391 Chambers Hill Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17111 G.R. Sponaugle & Sons, Inc . is seeking a General Administrator to join our team in Harrisburg, PA. We offer a Competitive Base Salary (DOE) as well as the other excellent benefits as noted below. The General Administrator is responsible for handling project documentation and correspondence in support of one or more managers. An understanding of various administrative skills is required. The individual will work with the Accounting, Purchasing, Benefits, and Sales Departments. Enhancing relationships to ensure quality service is provided for employees, customers, vendors, and benefit suppliers. Participate as an active member of the GRS staff to support and develop a culture of teaming with a focus on growth, integrity, and respect for the individual.
Qualifications:
- Composition of Adobe InDesign and Word document presentations: Proposals as directed by the Sales Team Infrared Reports (example available) for Electrical Service Sales Team Ensuring Company consistency of all outgoing PDF Word documents, Letterhead, etc.
- Human Resource Support; File Management Direct Contact with Benefit Providers (subject to change) § Medical Insurance Benefit providers § Benefit providers § Insurance providers and Benefits Broker of Record
- Assist Service Department with miscellaneous clerical responsibilities
- Develop proficiency and skills as the Alternate for the following positions: Dispatcher Accounting Assistant Purchasing Assistant
- Obtain Public Notary License at company expense (If Needed)
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience providing administrative support
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and managing files and records and other office procedures at a proficient level.
- Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work within strict deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills and desire to be a team player.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Excellent written communication skills (i.e. business letter writing, grammar, etc.).
- Excellent oral communication skills (i.e. ability to deal with customers, speak professionally on the phone, etc.).
- Proficient in MS Office G.
