MUSIC SCHOOL OFFICE MANAGER
Description:
The Music Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our music school. Hours (with some flexibility):
M T W F 3
00 p.m.
- 7:00 p.m., Saturday 8:30 a.m.
- 1:00 p.m., with option to take school vacations and major holidays off. Salary range $21
- 25/hr This is 20+ hour weekly part-time position for a hands-on individual who desires contributing to a greater mission and is seeking a long-term part-time convenient opportunity!
The role is challenging yet flexible by way of work-life balance. A great opportunity to fill afterschool work hours for a school teacher or a restless educated retiree looking for a meaningfulmitment. This position requires a blend ofanizational skills, team management, and clerical expertise to ensure smooth functioning and effectivemunication within the team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong phone etiquette, and proficiency in office management. Duties Manage and coordinate daily operations.
Oversee students and faculty scheduling.
Handle phone systems and maintain professional phone etiquette.
Reply to email inquiries and questions from students and faculty.
Data entry and maintaining accurate records usingputerized database.
Create social posts, flyers, and email notifications related to school’s events and initiatives.
Maintain ananized front desk presence, and managing inquiries.

Qualifications:

A candidate must beanized, reliable, mature, educated, who wants to be a part of an instructional environment for children.
Customer service orientation, high energy, and friendliness.
Experience with professional email etiquette
- strong writtenmunication skills and excellent phone etiquette.
Experience/ willing to learn the use ofputerized database
Ability to be self-directed; excellent follow through and task memory skills
Handling payments (checks, card, cash); good record keeping, and troubleshooting
Multi-tasking, efficient time management and prioritizing skills
Stronganizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, proactive, and enthusiastic about contributing to the success of a dynamic music environment.
