JOB DESCRIPTION A
seasonal palm tree trimmer is responsible for maintaining and pruning palm trees to ensure their health, safety, and aesthetic appeal.
Key Responsibilities Pruning and Maintenance:
Trim dead or overgrown fronds, remove fruit clusters, and shape palm trees for optimal growth and appearance.
Safety Measures:
Use climbing equipment, safety harnesses, and tools like chainsaws and pole pruners while adhering to safety protocols.
Debris Removal:
Clear and dispose of trimmed branches and debris from the worksite.
Inspection:
Assess trees for signs of disease, pests, or structural issues and report findings
Customer Interaction:
Communicate with property owners to understand their needs and provide advice on palm tree care. Skills and Qualifications No experience required in tree trimming or landscaping, will train
Knowledge of tools and equipment used in tree maintenance a plus
Physical fitness and ability to work at heights
Valid driver’s license
Certification in tree care or arboriculture (preferred but not always necessary) Work Environment Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
Seasonal employment, often during peak growth or maintenance periods
