Cannabis Cultivator Hazy Hill Farm Freeport, ME 04032 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Cannabis Cultivator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture and a strong understanding of plant care, with experience in greenhouse environments. This role involves hands-on cultivation of cannabis plants, ensuring optimal growth and quality while adhering to industry standards and regulations. Duties Cultivate cannabis plants from seed to harvest, maintaining optimal growing conditions. Utilize hand tools for planting, pruning, and harvesting. Monitor plant health through regular inspections, identifying any signs of disease or pest issues. Implement proper irrigation and nutrient management practices. Assist in the maintenance of facilities, ensuring cleanliness and organization. Perform heavy lifting as required during planting and harvesting processes. Maintain accurate records of plant growth, health, and environmental conditions using basic math skills. Collaborate with team members to develop best practices for cultivation techniques. Requirements Experience with hand tools and farm equipment is essential. Strong plant identification skills to recognize various cannabis strains and their specific needs. Mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as needed in the cultivation process. A background in growing plants in greenhouse settings is preferred. Basic math skills for record keeping and data entry related to plant care.
