Agricultural Equipment Operators Position Available In Onondaga, New York

Anticipated period of employment: 8/10/2025 to 11/08/20253 months verifiable experience required. Farm equipment operator to run 100 hp. tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to cultivate, spray, wash and harvest pumpkins and squash. Manually cultivate, and harvest produce. Use hand tools, such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, and knives. All workers are required to drive. Driving duties will be limited to operation of farm equipment such as tractors and/or tractor drawn machinery. Will operate equipment in farm fields and drive on farm roads. All machinery or equipment operation will be done within the farm settings and are incidental to work at our business location. Much work will require extensive bending, stooping and ground work. Operate & maintain irrigation system. Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment. Apply fertilizers to crops. Inform farmers or farm managers of crop progress. Will monitor fields for plant infestations and use treatments appropriate for use in both a preventative or infestation situation. Clear and maintain irrigation ditches.•See
