GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

In this challenging role, you will be supporting the GRD

  • Grounds department at Greenville Technical College.

Duties may include any or all of the following. Assist in maintaining turf, trees, shrubs and other plant material by mowing, cutting, trimming, pruning and any other means necessary to maintain the health and appearance of the college’s turf, ornamental shrubs, trees and grounds overall. Remove weeds, litter, debris and trash from college property. Keep all hard surfaces debris free and safe for college students, staff and visitors
Assist with college landscaping projects to include plant and tree preparation and installation and installation of irrigation systems
Perform other duties related to grounds maintenance and building maintenance as assigned by supervisor, department manager or director.
Assist as assigned with college events, projects and other duties as assigned and voluntary participation on college committees. Greenville Technical College is one of the largest institutions of higher learning in South Carolina and we invite you to consider becoming a part of our team!

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience, on-the-job training, and/or demonstrated knowledge related to the area of employment.
