KDP/ Twisting Production Manager PURPOSE:
To safely and efficiently examine textured yarn for quality standards and advance yarn for customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Dye yarn sock samples to spec
Inspect/ Grade yarn socks for quality
Help with pull through
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work safely
Ability to read and write and follow directions
Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
Ability to understand and follow KDP Grader standard work procedures
Ability to grade quality: first and off quality
Ability to use scales and computer
Ability to work with dyes and chemicals

Standing:
Ability to stand to grade yarn and socks 100% of day Moving Move freely throughout the KDP department 100% of day Push Use a broom and dust pan. 15% of day Push Ability to push a pin truck with up to 36 eighteen-pound packs 25% of day
Reach:
Ability to reach yarn above head to inspect yarn and label packs 25% of day
Bending:
Ability to pick up objects from the floor. Ability to bend to ground to inspect yarn 25% of day Walking Ability to walk through the plant to get to work station, meeting rooms, break area, and to perform audits. 10% of day
Environment:
Ability to work around polyester, nylon and acetate 100% of day
Environment:
Ability to work in a lab environment with dyes and chemicals while wearing PPE 50% of day

Ability to work in a conditioned indoor environment where temperature varies with the weather. 100% of day Environment Ability to work in manufacturing environment around powered material handling vehicles and moving mechanical parts. 100 of day
