$60,000-70,000 Base Salary plus Commissions, Full time benefits available Full time

required Sam Bridge Nursery & Greenhouses has a rapidly expanding Container Garden & Seasonal Décor program, now seeking a new lead to work as our program manager. The program manager will be responsible for designing, installing and maintaining horticultural and some floral designs at the client’s home. Planters, small garden beds and other areas – entryways, patios, etc. Applicants must have prior experience designing with plants and cut flowers in a commercial capacity . You should have great working knowledge of the mechanics of planter and floral design and good working knowledge of plants and what they need to thrive. Applicants without prior experience will not be considered.

TASKS INCLUDE

Designing & installing outdoor potted plants Designing & installing exterior seasonal décor (fall & winter) Designing & installing vegetable gardens and annual flower plantings Maintaining installations Managing inventory for installations Estimates & sales Leading installation crews Driving large company vehicles to installation sites (clean driver’s license required) Applicants must be: Great with floral composition, best landscape practices and have prior design & installation experience — floral, containers, gardens and/or landscape Great with people Positive minded Organized Punctual Efficient Possess a sense of urgency Accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment with a heavy client load Detail oriented and observant Able to communicate clearly Accustomed to able to work in all weather conditions Able to lift (a minimum) of 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day Able to endure physical tasks for 8 or more hours per day Past experience working in landscape installation, landscape maintenance, or agriculture is preferred and design experience is a must . Past employment in a sales-related role preferred
