Landscape Maintenance Technician Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of outdoor spaces, ensuring they are aesthetically pleasing, safe, and functional. The primary duties of this role will include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and performing other duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and care for outdoor landscapes, including lawns, gardens, and trees. Use a variety of gardening tools and equipment, such as lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, and leaf blowers, to perform routine maintenance tasks. Ensure that outdoor spaces are free from debris and hazards, such as fallen branches, rocks, and other obstacles. Operate vehicles and machinery in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of landscaping techniques, tools, and equipment. Ability to operate and maintain various gardening tools and equipment. Good physical condition with the ability to lift and move heavy objects. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

The Landscape Maintenance Technician will be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb stairs or ladders, as well as lift and carry heavy objects. The job may require working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
