The Golf Course Equipment Operator is responsible for operating various motorized equipment used in the upkeep and care of the golf course grounds. This includes mowing greens, tees, fairways, and roughs, as well as assisting with landscaping, bunker maintenance, and general course conditioning. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in an outdoor team environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate light and heavy mowing equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain sand bunkers, trim edges, rake, and repair as needed
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as blowing debris, trimming, edging, and course setup
• Report any issues with equipment or course conditions to supervisors
• Follow safety guidelines and proper operating procedures at all times
• Assist in special projects including aerification, topdressing, and sod installation

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping preferred, but not required
• Ability to operate and maintain small machinery and hand tools
• Must be able to work early morning shifts and weekends on a rotating schedule
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
