Landscaping Starland Sportsplex & Fun Park 637 Washington Street, Hanover, MA 02339 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves performing various tasks related to lawn care, garden upkeep, and groundskeeping, ensuring that our clients’ outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to maintain gardens and landscapes. Dig, plant, and transplant trees, shrubs, and flowers as needed. Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify areas requiring attention or improvement. Maintain equipment by cleaning, lubricating, and performing minor repairs as necessary. Assist in the installation of irrigation systems and ensure proper watering of plants. Provide tree care services including pruning and removal as needed. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Qualifications Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools safely. Familiarity with lawn care techniques, garden maintenance practices, and tree care methods. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
