Landscape and Grounds Maintenance Position Available In Dare, North Carolina

Landscape and Grounds Maintenance Newman Homes Kitty Hawk, NC 27949 Hiring for full time, year round landscape and grounds maintenance technician.

• This is a 40 hour a week position, wage is to be determined from experience
• Reliable transportation and ability to report to work on time is mandatory. Must have valid driver’s license with good driving record and abilty to tow and back up trailers of various size.
• General knowledge in residential landscape maintenance
• General knowledge in work safety
• Accountability for job performance
• Perform general landscape and grounds maintenance on rental properties and other locations including the central office
• Landscaping tasks can include the following plus others: Landscaping and routine lawn services and trimming Mowing Weed-eating Shrub trimming Mulching Selective Clearing Spring/Fall/Storm Clean-ups
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and go up and down stairs
• Must be able to carry an extension ladder, use it properly and climb the ladder to safe heights to execute jobs as needed
• Must have knowledge and ability to use various equipment, hardware & power tools
• Lubricate, clean, and inspect equipment, machines or tools.
• Must be willing to work in extreme heat and cold, outdoors
• Ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner whether supervised or unsupervised
