Landscape Technician Position Available In Dare, North Carolina

Landscape Technician Signature Touch Property Mangement 2600 North Croatan Highway, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948 Landscaping Tech (Year-Round) Growing business in Kill Devil Hills looking for a dependable landscaping team member to undertake upkeep and repair. We will rely on you to help keep our facilities in perfect condition and looking professional. Must have a positive can-do attitude. Required to have an Active Driver’s License. Duties include but are not limited to: Monitor all tools, equipment and machinery for upkeep and proper handling Maintain work equipment/machinery regularly Haul equipment and carry ladders Track and record jobs, expenses, materials used, and hours worked Must be able to execute work orders alone or with crew in a timely manner Keep the grounds in a clean and attractive manner. Monitor the upkeep and maintenance of the landscaping and grounds daily. Cleans sidewalks and disposes of debris and trash properly. Common duties include, but are not limited to, mowing lawns, pulling weeds, trimming hedges, planting flowers and shrubbery, fertilizing, watering, raking leaves, and generally keeping the lawn, plants, and hedges in good shape. Knowledge of equipment such as lawnmowers, blowers, and trimmers, and be familiar with a variety of gardening tools to be used for different purposes. They must also be dependable and physically fit, as their job can be quite labor-intensive. Knowledge of general maintenance safety Interpretation and completion of verbal and/or written instructions at a proficient level. Time management and time critical prioritization skills Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Active Driver’s License – Will be driving company vehicles. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Must be able to drive a truck and trailer combo. Must have Landscaping equipment experience. Take the lead if the Supervisor is off/out. Attention to detail. Effective communication ability High school diploma or equivalent. 1-5 years of related or closely related experience. Skills necessary to operate the following equipment and machines safely and efficiently: Backpack blower; broom; dustpan; ladder; extension pole; general hand tools; and safety equipment such as hearing and eye protection. Knowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.) Initiative-taking, proactive, detail oriented and a team player. Able to lift 55 lbs, plus Basic phone and computer skills Work in extreme conditions (cold, heat, traffic)

Pay Range:
