In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetics and health of residential and commercial landscapes. You will utilize your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to ensure that lawns, gardens, and outdoor spaces are well-kept and thriving. This position requires a passion for landscaping, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Responsibilities Perform lawn care services including mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding. Execute landscape maintenance tasks such as planting flowers, shrubs, and trees. Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, and blowers. Conduct tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and enhance appearance. Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Assist in hardscape projects including patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Provide snow plowing services during winter months as needed. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferences. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred, but not necessary. Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation and maintenance. Familiarity with hardscape installation techniques is a plus. Ability to irrigate effectively using various irrigation systems. Knowledge of tree trimming practices to ensure the health of trees within landscapes. Excellent attention to detail with a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
