Landscaper/Groundskeeper Pro Landscape Summerville, SC 29485 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our outdoor spaces. This role involves a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, lawn care, and general groundskeeping duties. A strong understanding of gardening techniques and the ability to operate hand and power tools is essential for success in this position. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various gardening activities. Irrigate plants and lawns as needed to ensure optimal growth and health. Maintain flower beds, shrubs, trees, and other garden features by weeding, planting, and pruning. Monitor the condition of the grounds and report any issues or required repairs. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Experience Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required. Familiarity with lawn care techniques, including fertilization, pest control, and irrigation systems. Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Knowledge of plant types, growth patterns, and seasonal care requirements is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and appearance in outdoor spaces.
