Compensation:

$19.00 to $20.00 per hour

Essential functions
Responsible for repair and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
Field mechanic. Repairs equipment in the field and in the shop.
Provides weekly maintenance on golf course and landscape equipment.
May be asked to drive a light truck or operate mowing equipment.
Experience with 2 stroke small engine repairs required.
Golf Course and Landscaping equipment experience required for weedeaters, trimmers, hedgers, lawn mowers, etc
Performs other mechanical duties and/or tasks as directed by management Knowledge, skills and abilities Must be able and willing to take directions.
Must possess excellent organizational skills and coordinate and complete tasks with limited supervision.
Must be a self-starter and eager to learn.
Must be able to recognize and solve problems.
Must possess time management skills.
Must maintain high performance standards.
Ability to deal effectively and cooperatively with employees, management and members.
Knowledge of the use of turf and landscaping equipment including tractors, mowers, aerifier, electric motors, etc…
Must be a detail-oriented individual and possess time management skills.
Education and experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum 1 year previous mechanic experience required.
Experience with 2 stroke small engine repairs required.
Golf Course and Landscaping equipment experience required for weedeaters, trimmers, hedgers, lawn mowers, etc..
Experience in small and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, mechanical expertise on golf course reel mowers (sharpening and set up)
Some welding experience preferred.
Must be able to lift/pull/push up to 75lbs.
