This position involves assisting skilled masons, handling materials, and performing physical labor to ensure the successful completion of each job. The ideal candidate is hardworking, safety-conscious, and eager to learn the masonry trade. Duties Assist masons with the construction, repair, and renovation of structures using bricks, blocks, and stones Support hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls Mix mortar, concrete, and other construction materials Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and supplies at job sites Prepare surfaces for masonry work by cleaning and leveling areas Apply basic plaster and stucco under supervision Support concrete finishing by preparing forms and assisting in smoothing surfaces Perform general site clean-up and debris removal Operate hand tools and small machinery safely and efficiently Assist with tile setting and metal stud framing tasks as directed Skills Basic understanding of masonry and construction practices Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and work long hours outdoors Willingness to learn advanced masonry skills from experienced tradespeople Strong work ethic and ability to follow directions Familiarity with tools and materials used in masonry Commitment to safety and job site cleanliness Join our team of dedicated professionals and gain hands-on experience in the masonry trade.
