Job Summary:

Cypress Employment is looking for a reliable and skilledCarpenterto join our clients’ construction team in the Mobile, AL area. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with rough and finish carpentry, be comfortable working with a variety of tools and materials, and be able to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to determine measurements and materials
• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as framing, walls, floors, doors, windows, stairs, and cabinetry
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, drywall, and other materials
• Ensure structures meet building codes and safety regulations
• Install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Inspect and maintain tools and equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on job sitesQualifications
• Minimum of 2 years experience in industrial or commercial carpentry
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints
• Proficient with carpentry tools and materials
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Dependable transportation to various job sites in the Mobile area
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus
