Concrete Finisher Terrill Landscape Contracting 390 Old Highway 100, Villa Ridge, MO 63089 Overview We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher and Retaining Wall Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics effectively. This role involves working with various hand tools and performing tasks related to the finishing of concrete and hardscape surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications. Responsibilities Prepare and clean surfaces for concrete pouring, ensuring proper alignment and leveling. Finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand tools, including trowels and floats, to achieve a smooth finish. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and specifications. Install various types retaining walls. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety standards. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues as necessary. Qualifications Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role in construction. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to concrete projects. Strong skills in using hand tools and equipment for concrete finishing. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with concrete finishing.
