Our client, a reputable real estate inspection company in Alpharetta, GA, is seeking a certified and dedicated Part-Time Home Inspector to join their team. This role is ideal for professionals with no experience to 3 years of experience in the field who are looking to further their expertise and contribute to delivering high-quality, detailed home inspections.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of residential properties to assess the condition of the structure, systems, and components. Prepare and deliver detailed reports on findings, including any defects or safety issues observed during inspections. Communicate effectively with clients to review inspection results, answer questions, and provide recommendations. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Coordinate scheduling with clients and real estate agents to perform inspections in a timely manner. Continuously update knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and inspection regulations.
Qualifications:
Must be a certified Home Inspector, holding valid certification recognized in Georgia such as InterNACHI, ASHI, or
GAHI . 1
to 3 years of experience in home inspection or a closely related field. Strong foundational knowledge in construction, building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC), and safety compliance. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify potential issues effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with homeowners and real estate professionals. A willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies or changes in industry standards. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel locally as needed.
Contract Details:
This is a 1099 contractor position, offering flexible part-time hours. Pay will be based on a per-inspection basis, commensurate with experience and industry standards.
