The ideal candidate will conduct thorough inspections of residential properties, identify structural and system issues, and deliver detailed reports to clients. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive inspections of homes, including structural, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, and foundation systems Identify safety concerns, maintenance issues, and code violations Use software to create clear and concise inspection reports with photos and recommendations Communicate findings to clients in a professional and easy-to-understand manner Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local building codes and inspection standards Travel to job sites across New York City and surrounding areas Qualifications NYS-licensed Home Inspector (required) Minimum 1-2 years of experience in home inspections, construction, or related field Strong understanding of home systems and components Excellent communication and customer service skills Proficient with inspection software and mobile devices Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Preferred Additional certifications (e.g., mold, radon, termite inspections) Bilingual abilities a plus What We Offer Competitive pay and performance bonuses Flexible scheduling options Supportive team environment Opportunities for continued education and professional development
