Shipyard Labor Integrity Staffing Services Mayport, FL 2 days ago Quick Job type Full-time Quick Job description Responsibilities Assist skilled trades (welders, pipefitters, electricians, etc.) with tools, materials, and setup Perform general labor duties such as sweeping, lifting, moving materials, and cleaning work areas Load and unload equipment and supplies Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Follow all safety protocols and procedures Operate forklifts, man lifts, or other equipment (if certified) Perform fire watch or hole watch duties as assigned (training provided) Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements :
Must be a U.S. Citizen Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Mayport Naval Station (DBIDS clearance) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces Must be dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions Willingness to work in various weather conditions and onboard ships Previous shipyard or construction labor experience is preferred but not required OSHA 10 Maritime or other shipyard safety training is a plus
Schedule :
Monday through Friday 7am-3 : 45pm Possible overtime, evenings, and weekends based on project needs
Pay :
