Laborer 2.6 2.6 out of 5 stars 2256 NC Highway 172, Sneads Ferry, NC 28460 General Labor C. M. Mitchell Construction in Sneads Ferry NC is looking for dependable, consistent, general laborers for either site work.

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A BASE PASS FOR CAMP LEJEUNE AND HAVE A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE OR TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM CAMP LEJEUNE. YOU MUST SHOW UP EVERY DAY ON TIME READY TO WORK.

This job will require individuals to work outside in all weather conditions, be able to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push and pull and lift up to 30 lbs. In the long term, laborers will have the general responsibility to provide support and assistance to skilled workers on a project.

Duties and Responsibilities:

They may: operate a variety of hand and power tools clean and prepare sites, install silt or sand fence, clean up rubble and debris and remove waste materials, load and unload trucks lift and carry objects and materials of various weights may require some basic carpentry may be asked to work on the asphalt crew take initiative and anticipate what needs to be done. Show abilities and willingness to learn and understand your role on the team stay busy when on job site or otherwise on company time, other duties as assigned

Work Week:

Typical work weeks are from 7 to 12 hour workdays, 5 days per week with some weekend work. During peak times and seasonal extreme weather-related events, position may require long hours.
