Full Time starting rate•minimum $25 per hour or higher based on experience and skillset. Per Diem provided for travel. Prevailing Wage when applicable dependent upon the project.
About National Gunite:
As a Specialty Construction Contractor, National Gunite provides trenchless repairs for failing and deteriorating sewers and storm culverts. National Gunite works with commercial and municipal clients predominantly across the Rust Belt (IN, OH, and PA), and specializes in restabilizing the walls of concrete, brick, stone and metal pipelines by pneumatically spraying concrete through a nozzle onto new steel reinforcement. Our construction laborers are responsible for cleaning, reinforcing and spraying concrete inside sanitary and storm sewers. As a growing company with a large backlog of future business, we are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals who desire a high paying career in the construction industry. Interested individuals must be able to reliably commute and travel to different project jobsites on a weekly basis. Scope, duration, and location of the work is project based determined by customer needs. Seasonal and full-time positions available for qualified and non-qualified applicants, as well as growth opportunities available for aspiring crew leaders and construction superintendents.
Skills/Qualifications:
Must be able to perform heavy manual labor in sustained periods of confined space conditions in pipes or culverts. Must be able to lift and carry 50-100 pounds. Work schedule is four 10+ hour days. Fifth day scheduled when there are weather interruptions. Offer competitive wages with benefits•health insurance, vacation, paid holidays and 401(k) plan with 7% match Construction knowledge preferred, but not required. Must be willing to travel (per diem reimbursement provided). Must be punctual. Must have reliable transportation. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and physical.
