POSITION SUMMARY

Area Managers support several plants and multiple teams of employees. In this position, you are responsible for: Sanitation Performance, Staffing, Budgeting, Food Safety, Inventory, Payroll, Quality Control, Customer Relations and Support for the Site Managers.

JOB DUTIES

Conduct conference calls with each of your Site Managers every week on Sundays or Mondays. Go over operations, issues, schedule changes, and additions to customer’s AOR. Review wages and chemical inventory; use AM reports. Assist Site Managers in recruiting, training and retaining staff. Work with Customers and Site Managers to schedule visits to each plant once per week Walk each plant and check on employees Observe the site’s pre-op Check documentation for employees and provide coaching if necessary Inspect chemical and storage Connect with WINS candidates for coaching and mentoring Attend sanitation meetings. Keep notes from all meetings; follow up on items discussed. Maintain a professional relationship with each of your customers. Know the names and positions of every contact, internal and external, at each site. Connect with each contact at each site visit. Answer emails, texts and calls from Customers within 8-12 hours. Email any customer issues to the Startkleen office and ask for assistance from FSQA or Maintenance Attend meetings as necessary Conduct weekly Safety Trainings Review and Approve Site Managers’ supply orders Participate in Managers Conference Call weekly.

REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or GED Valid Driver’s License Must be legally authorized to work in the US Frequent travel Excellent email, text and phone communication skills Physically able and willing to work in all environmental conditions that exist in food processing plants. Willing and able to work nights, weekends and holidays Bilingual Preferred Work Location – Multiple locations We’re seeking a driven Area Manager with the potential to grow into a Regional Manager role as part of our ongoing growth.
