Job Summary:
This role is responsible for overseeing commercial field production and ensuring the quality of work performed by Commercial Lead Electricians. The supervisor will deliver projects on schedule and within budget by working collaboratively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients. A strong emphasis on safety, communication, and consistent performance is essential.
Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day field operations and supervise crew members, focusing on best practices and efficiency to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met.
Coordinate project activities to optimize labor, material, and equipment usage for operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Utilize digital tools for tracking progress, managing schedules, and maintaining documentation.
Interpret plans, submittals, and related documents.
Collaborate with procurement teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Generate daily reports and pre-task planning documents.
Support the operational effectiveness and profitability of the Commercial Electrical Department in partnership with the RNC Field Supervisor.
Train and mentor crew members, developing both technical skills and communication abilities.
Conduct periodic staff evaluations.
Address and help resolve workforce complaints and grievances, in coordination with the RNC Field Supervisor.
Perform standard truck inventory checks and safety inspections.
Provide input on hiring, promotions, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
Inspect ongoing work to ensure adherence to company, safety, and project quality standards.
Promote and maintain a safe work environment, prioritizing safety in all operations.

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a supervisor or team lead, demonstrating strong leadership and crew management skills.
Solid understanding of OSHA regulations and enforcement procedures.
Strong skills in forecasting, scheduling, and managing project timelines.
Familiarity with electrical tools and job site operations.
Problem-solving mindset with an initiative-taking, solution-oriented attitude.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and basic office equipment.
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet FCCI auto guidelines for operating a company vehicle.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
At least 18 years of age.
Able to successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
