Full-Time Are you passionate about shaping communities through strategic land planning? We’re looking for a Land Planner to join a forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering high-quality, client-centered development projects. In this role, you’ll work across a diverse range of land use projects—residential, commercial, municipal, parks, and mixed-use—using your technical skills and creative vision to turn raw land into thriving spaces.

Must-Haves:

BS degree in Planning, Landscape Architecture, or related field (PLP or Registered Professional preferred) 1-3 years of experience in land planning, preferably across multiple project scales Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, GIS, Land F/X , and Microsoft Office Strong knowledge of local ordinances and Municode Effective communicator with the ability to work in high-pressure environments Strong graphic design and presentation skills Self-motivated, collaborative, and detail-oriented

What You’ll Do:

Support clients in preparing and executing development plans aligned with municipal guidelines Conduct site suitability studies and assess existing conditions Assist in preparing land planning proposals, zoning submittals, and project design booklets Interpret and apply local, state, and federal land use laws, ordinances, and codes Utilize statistical, geographic, and demographic data to inform planning strategies Help create timeframes and actionable strategies to meet project milestones and budgets Coordinate with reviewing agencies to gain plan approvals Draft clear and compelling project reports, proposals, and communication materials Assist in preparing and delivering public presentations using visual aids Monitor project compliance with applicable regulations and best practices Work closely with project managers, engineers, government officials, and stakeholders to ensure project success
