We are seeking an experienced Superintendent - Concrete/Industrial to oversee and manage concrete and industrial construction projects.
The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining safety compliance and leading a skilled team. Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of concrete and industrial construction projects from initiation to completion.
Manage project schedules and budgets to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
Enforce safety compliance standards and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
Lead and supervise construction teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
Review and interpret blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate execution.
Utilize heavy equipment safely and effectively in project operations.
Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards in construction work.
Address and resolve any issues or problems that arise on the job site promptly.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Superintendent in concrete and industrial construction.
Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully completed projects.
In-depth knowledge of safety compliance regulations and OSHA standards.
Experience in quality control processes and standards.
Demonstrated ability in budget management and cost control.
Excellent scheduling skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
Strong site supervision and team leadership abilities.
Experience in contract negotiation and vendor management.
Proficient in blueprint reading and construction planning.
Capable of operating heavy equipment and understanding its application in construction.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
