Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled APM/Construction Field Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some Project Management background within the construction field and basic understanding of or experience around mechanical systems (MEP, HVAC, Piping, or Plumbing, etc.).

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree (Mechanical/Civil/Construction preferred) Recent graduates and early career candidates are encouraged to apply REVIT or CAD experience helpful; ability to read prints Construction/Field experience helpful MEP (HVAC, Piping, Plumbing, or Mechanical Systems) knowledge helpful Project Management/Leadership skills OSHA 10 or 30 MS Office skills, Procore or Bluebeam helpful

Basic Details:

Seeking an APM/Construction Field Engineer to assist in the completion of RFQs, estimate reviews, job walk throughs. Projects will involve MEP (HVAC, Piping, Plumbing, Mechanical) type disciplines. Work directly with Project Management team to help manage and estimate construction projects Completes engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements. Assembles miscellaneous details necessary to prepare job bid proposals. Develops relationships with sub-contractors and interacts with them to secure necessary information for job bids. Support Project Manager in collecting the necessary information to complete the monthly Work in Progress, (WIP) report. Assist with projecting and adherence to job budget and timing of tasks. Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and surfacing issues to be resolved. Controls project costs by recommending expenditures and administering contractor contracts. Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions. Assist in project timeline and deadlines Maintains project database by updating our construction systems Be available to support the Project Manager to answer any customer inquiry.
