PROJECT MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

Cutler Building & Remodeling, Inc. is an established residential construction company based out of Milford, MA. The company was founded in 1996 with the goal of providing customers with the highest level of quality and workmanship possible for every project. The operation has grown significantly, and we are looking for exceptional people to join our team. We are currently searching for an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. This person will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. An excellent Construction Project Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies, procedures, and building codes and be able to supervise numerous subcontractors of different trades to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on-time and on-budget according to plans and specifications. The duties and responsibilities of a Construction Project Manager for Cutler Building & Remodeling, Inc. include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Review project plans as to time frame, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project.
• Manage subcontractors on the job site, ensuring the quality of their work is at Cutler Building’s high standard.
• Initiate and manage owner change requests and change orders
• Establish work plan for each phase of the project with subcontractors
• Confer with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
• Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
• Prepare project reports for management, client, or others
• Provide technical advice and resolves problems for project staff
• Coordinate project activities with activities of regulatory or other governmental agencies
