Construction Business Development Manager Construction Services Group Neosho, MO 64850 Marion Company, LLC – Construction Services Group (CSG) is looking for qualified applicants with the ability to market, promote, and sell construction related services and projects within our service area (Southwest Missouri, NW Arkansas, Northeast Oklahoma, and Southeast Kansas), effectively, serving as a bridge between our company’s offerings and the client needs, driving sales and contributing to business growth. Sales & Business Development Role Generate leads and find new business opportunities. This will involve cold calling, networking, client referrals, and attending industry events. Develop connections to build strong, lasting relationships with potential and existing clients, to maintain business and foster repeat sales. Develop relationships with trade contractors, developers, architects, and property managers. Effectively showcase the benefits of CSG’s offerings to potential clients. Assist in creating, developing, and presenting contract proposals that highlight the value proposition of our products/services. Negotiate contracts and finalize deals with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements. Meet or exceed sales goals, successfully achieve established sales targets and revenue objectives. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, bids, and proposals. Product Knowledge & Industry Expertise Comprehension of construction processes and trades. Possess knowledge of the various aspects and applications of construction products/services, markets, and trends. Staying abreast of industry trends and market conditions, keeping informed of changes in the construction industry, competitor offerings, and market demands. Familiarity with architectural specifications and construction design elements. Understanding project plans and blueprints to better align offerings with client needs. Familiarity with marketing tools, such as CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Customer Service & Support Acting as a liaison to better facilitate communication and ensure smooth project execution between the client and construction teams. Providing after-sales support, assisting clients with inquiries, issues, and ensuring satisfaction after a purchase. Resolving customer issues quickly by working with others to address client concerns efficiently and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Marketing & Brand Positioning Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to build brand awareness and generate leads. Manage online and offline marketing campaigns (social media, email, events, etc.). Create promotional materials such as brochures, capability statements, project sheets, press releases, project announcements, and newsletters. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities. Collaborate in maintaining the company website and social media platforms with fresh, engaging content. Coordinate project photography, client testimonials, and portfolio content for promotional use. Track and analyze marketing metrics and adjust strategies to improve engagement and ROI. Coordinate with external vendors/agencies for marketing collateral, branding, and digital initiatives. Assist in company event and organizational event planning (ground breakings, ribbon cuttings, etc.).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders. Self-motivated and driven for success. The ability to work independently and strive to achieve goals. A sense of urgency. Inherently prompt at returning phone calls, setting and making appointments, being punctual, and maintaining appropriate follow-up. Experience in sales and marketing, particularly in the construction or related industry. Possessing an existing network of industry contacts is a plus. Experience working with general contractors, subcontractors, or construction service providers. Networking and relationship-building skills. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and industry professionals.
