Construction Superintendent Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee upcoming projects across the Charlotte Metro and Fort Mill, SC areas. This role requires commercial general contracting experience, with a focus on projects such as hotels, ground-up Valvoline oil changes, and various light commercial jobs throughout the Carolinas. Responsibilities Manage and oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet budget, timeline, and quality standards. Coordinate and supervise subcontractor activities, including drywall, concrete, cabinetry, and flooring. Ensure all safety protocols are followed on-site, in compliance with OSHA 30 standards. Utilize Procore software for project management and documentation. Read and interpret blueprints to guide project execution. Provide mentorship and training to project teams, fostering a culture of learning and growth. Essential Skills 5-10 years of experience in commercial construction management, with a track record of seeing projects through from start to finish. Proven ability to manage subcontractors and construction supervision. Proficiency in Procore software and blueprint reading. Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in drywall finishing and hanging, concrete finishing and pours, cabinetry, and flooring. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Eager to learn and exhibit a proactive, go-getter attitude.
